First day of tournament

The first day went well. Jen Pelletier started us off with a great start. unfortuantely her opponent from France came back and Jen lost in 4. next was Danielle Letourneau from Calgary and she played great winning her first match in 3 games. Sam was to be next up but her match was delayed by one of the worst matches we've seen in ages. the two girls could not mover around the court and it was let after let after let after...... So Laura was the next up adn she one in 3. sam then went on and won hers in three as well. Next was Danielle again and Danielle was up again and played great ssquash, but her opponent was a bit more experienced and she held on to win in 4. Danielle showed her mettle though! It was then back to the hotel for dinner and sleep. It was a long day of matches. no touring today as it was too hot and really too frantic outside to be comfortable walking about. No feeling of being unsafe with the people as they all appear friendly - just the cars, bikes and other vehicules.
